A. Introduction

Loadline Certification is statutory activities constituting delegation of authority by Ship's Flag State.

B. BKI Services

There are 2 (two) types of loadline :

●   Loadline certificate according to PM 29 Tahun 2016 applies to ships engaged in Indonesian waters and non-convention ship engaged in International waters. This certificate valid for 5 (five) years.
●   Loadline certificate according to International Load Line Convention (ILLC 1996) applies to convention ships engaged in International waters and in Indonesian waters but choose the certification of ILLC . This certificate is valid for 5 (five) years.

 

Ship that has a loadline Certificate required to carry out periodic surveys of Loadline conducted by BKI Surveyor and after completed the survey, Loadline Certificate will be endorsed.

C. Certification Procedure

●   Submitting application to the nearest BKI's branch office.
●   Submitting General Arrangement drawing and Stability Calculation to BKI.
●   BKI Surveyor Verifies the Loadline requirement onboard.
●   BKI Head Office/Regionals issues Instruction of Freeboard Mark Installation.
●   Installation of Freeboard Mark onboard supervised by BKI Surveyor.
●   Issuance of Loadline Certificate.
